EOSC is a major initiative driven by the European Commission, member states, associated countries, and the research community to accelerate Open Science and the use of digital methods and services. It aims at promoting scientific cooperation to gain new insights and boost research productivity.

With the launch EOSC EU Node in October 2024, a milestone has been reached as researchers across Europe now have the possibility to store, share, process, analyse and reuse digital research objects such as data, publications, software etc. From this starting point, a federation of thematic and national nodes will be built in the coming years with the objective of creating a truly integrated and digitalised research ecosystem.

How can the EOSC EU Node contribute to knowledge valorisation? It gives you better possibilities to manage research results in a way that enables open science and open innovation as recommended in the code of practice on management of intellectual assets. This is due to the tools of the EOSC EU Node on knowledge sharing and multidisciplinary cooperation.
